The Holley TBI worked pretty well – good response, mileage and performance. But I couldn’t leave it at that. I figured there was probably something else out there that could be better.
Searching around the net I found Megasquirt. If you don’t know it’s a do it yourself TBI fuel injection system. Pop it in google and you’ll see tons of hits. It’s a pretty mature system. I purchased one, put it together (you can buy it assembled also) and installed it. It worked really well for about a month. Then I burnt part of it out along with an injector because I found out later , that I had low impedance injectors and there were special settings for those. Directions – who needs em? Apparently me.
