Had the heads pulled and brought them up to Proformance. Good thing – the exhaust valves were burnt. The intakes were OK. Went over to Ebay and got a set of exhaust valves from Falcon Sales, Jacksonville, FL. After that needed head studs – txautoplex had them here in a week.
Heads are now on and had to get a intake gasket wh ich is in the form a valley pan gasket, got that and now just need new bolts for the timing cover and water pump.
The headers are ceramic coated and I’ve decided not to do the wrapping, just see how the coating works out.
Now I’m working on an MGC hood or something like a scoop to get rid of the hole I had. Need just a bit more space to make a good clearance.
